About Oksana Senyk, MD, PhD

Oksana Senyk, MD, Ph.D. is a Birmingham, Alabama (family owned) pulmonologist practice. After graduating Summa cum laude from Syracuse University, Dr. Senyk was awarded a position in the National Institutes of Health Medical Scientist Training program and obtained a dual degree (MD and Ph.D.) from the Univeristy of Rochester. She then studied the application of computers to medicine in Boston at Tufts and MIT. She came to Birmingham AL to pursue pulmonary research while completing her clinical training in the Pulmonary division at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
